Fact is that my blog is not the only thing I have inspiration for. My first life has been quite a boost of energy lately and in Second Life® I've also been rather productive in the past weeks. It's a matter of priorities.
I used to write many of my blogposts during daytime, log in SL® in the evening, take a picture and post it the same evening or next day. In the past two months my work has absorbed me so much - in a positive way, dont worry! - that I haven't felt the temptation at all to write blogposts in office hours and procrastinate more important jobs.
When I finally have spare time, which is usually not before 9:30 in the evening, I have to choose between my blog and logging in SL (leaving the first life options out now, to keep it simple ;-)). And then Second Life wins. Because chatting with friends or piling up prims is less effort than arranging words in a language that is not my own, particularly on a hour when I'm getting tired already.
So here you have my excuse for my absence lately ;-) Of course, I know that it's a truly good development that I am more occupied with my atomic life. No one will blame me for that. But it's for my own ease of mind that I'm writing this post. I don't like the radio silence here, particularly not when I think of all the drafts that I have in stock.
So today I've allowed myself a few hours off (admitted, it was for the dentist that I did that) and now I'm writing these lines - just before noon. I already took a picture of my new avie the other day - one of the things I've been busy with lately: I needed clothes and hair for this cute little creature - so I can publish as soon as I've written the last words.
This blog is not dead, it's still alive. *I* am alive, more than ever.

I miss this blog, too :)
Lol, Joonie. Good to see that I still have readers left.:D
My intention is too post at least one of the drafts before I leave for vacation mid-July, and who knows, I might even manage a second one ;-)
